book publication
Here are some resources that you may need for pre-and post-publication of your book.
You will need an ISBN number to sell your book. Go to www.isbn.com to purchase your number. The numbers are sold individually or in lots. After you purchase your ISBN number go to www.bowkerlink.com to register it. If you want your ISBN in a barcode format, you will purchase it at www.bowkerbarcode.com. After your book's printed, you should send a copy to the US Copyright Office and have it copyrighted. Get more info at www.copyright.gov. If you plan on submitting your book for submission to the Library of Congress collection, you'll need to apply for the opportunity at www.loc.gov.
If you need some simple help with editing your book, purchase "Elements of Style" by Strunk and White. It is a great mini handbook for tips on grammar and punctuation, and it's very easy to use.
